This story follows Miles Cavendish, a skilled anthophrenor known in confidential reports as Anthophrenor Alpha. A year after his wife Julie vanished, her absence still shadows his work. When the body of missing heiress Scarlett Scalius is found, the only clue is a shattered compact mirror etched with an Egyptian symbol. Through the mindspace, Cavendish unravels a past that may reveal Scarlett’s killer and the surprising clues about Julie’s disappearance.
