Frazier History Museum: Love & Marriage

The Love & Marriage exhibit features wedding attire and customs from cultures across the world. I created a love song quiz featuring Kentucky-themed questions and music from native artists. The results page plays the matched song out loud. Visitors can scan a QR code near the touchscreen to access a Spotify playlist.

Frazier  History Museum:  The Lewis and Clark Experience

I made a looping animation for the teepee in The Lewis and Clark Experience, a family-friendly exhibition that immerses visitors into the journey of the Corps of Discovery. It features recreations of wildlife illustrations from Merriweather Lewis’ journal.

Frazier History Museum: KMAC Couture

Frazier History Museum is a Smithsonian affiliated institution that is host to permanent exhibitions about the culture and history of Kentucky. It is the official starting point of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail, making it a popular tourist destination in Louisville.

It is home to the Cool Kentucky Exhibition, featuring iconic cultural objects and stories that originate from the state. 3 winning dresses from the KMAC Couture wearable art competition are included in the exhibition. Due to their location being on a mezzanine, I created an accessible touchscreen application that shows 3D scans of the dresses.

Drexel University: Legacy Liaisons for Progress in Medicine

For the Health Sciences Building at Drexel University, we designed a program proposal for an upcoming exhibition. We conducted research on user experience in museums, informing our outline of digital and social solutions. The overall goals were to address racial and gender disparities within the Legacy Center’s collections and recontextualize the history of Drexel University’s College of Medicine in an inclusive, forward-thinking manner.
